Gunning District Community Health Service – Collector Health Care

Gunning District Community Health Service, in partnership with the Collector Community Association and Collector Memorial Hall offer a Community Nursing outreach health service in Collector every second Thursday of the month between 9am and 1pm at the Collector Memorial Hall.

At this stage Community Nursing services will be available to senior patients ONLY aged 65 years and over, who are residents of Collector or its surrounding areas.

​The first nursing service will begin operating on Thursday 20 January 2022 from 9.00am to 1.00pm and will continue every fortnight or depending on service need.

All patients that use this service will need to be registered with My Aged Care by calling 1800 200 422 OR speak with our community nurse at the launch.

The following services will be provided:

  • Medication and pain management
  • Post operative care
  • Wound care
  • Blood pressure checks
  • Regular health and illness monitoring
  • Oncology support
  • Home Visits
  • Palliative Care monitoring
  • Chronic Disease education/support
  • Indwelling Catheter Management with Supra Pubic Catheter
  • NDIS support

Bookings are helpful but not essential.
